All business blocks are mental blocks
Calvin Correli is the founder of Simplero.
Calvin built a platform for making business simpler. I'm a happy Simplero customer, so when I drew his story it was also mine: WordPress plugins, a hacked website, Teachable, an email list that wouldn't connect – until I caved in and bought Simplero. It allowed me to build my business in the way I did.
Calvin was in the same spot – but he is a programmer, so he built the platform instead of buying one. I got to know his thinking during his five-day Confident Coach challenge, which I sketchnoted live, one sheet a day – they are further down this page.
That is the outside story. The inside one came out while I was drawing: “Every time I've struggled in business, it's always been a mental block.” Food for thought! Later we mapped the whole of Simplero on paper – the story, the enemy, the why – and at the end of that Friday-night session he said the line that explains why founders book me: “You can't read the label from inside the bottle.” He also joined Visual Minds as a member and started drawing.

Sketching a five-day online Simplero challenge
Calvin asked me to sketch Simplero's five-day Confident Coach challenge live. So I recorded everything, one long sheet a day. The participants watched the drawing grow live. And got sent the recap with the sketch in the eveneing. It was great - many pearls of wisdom from Calvin and the guests. You can't see all the details here – I'll make a graphic recording post at some point later.
